Young Collectors’ Weekend (YCW) is a platform for the various stakeholders in the South Asian art ecosystem. The goal of YCW is to bring together India’s most talented contemporary artists with the next generation of collectors and to facilitate relationships that will mature together.
We aim to broaden the audience for contemporary art, enhance opportunities for artists and establish continuous dialogues. YCW is anchored by group shows in cities across India. Each exhibition is a weekend-long engagement between artists​​ and the world around them.
Each artist selected for the shows has shown a consciousness in their practice, and a determination to use their art to express themselves, as well as universal humanistic themes that we, as a society can all relate to. They go beyond aesthetics to create work with their own unique vocabulary that resonates deeply with and inspires a diverse audience.
