Rad Educators is a 1-year program intended to help beginner artists learn step-by-step techniques from professional artists across different mediums. This is in no way sponsored or promoted by any particular Art Brand.

Deepak Deshmukh is a Rad Educator for Charcoal Sketching.

Materials Required:-

1) Acrylic colour

2) Thin brush, round brush, and a flat brush

3) 180 GSM paper.

Step 1:

Draw an outline of 3 roses, a bud, and their leaves using a pencil.

Step 2:

Paint the petals of the flower using shades of peach and pink. Apply darker shades to the curvy edge so as to give a highlighting effect.

Similarly, paint the other flowers and bud.

Step 4:

For sepals and stems, use shades of sap green, light green, and dark green.

Step 5:

Take the light blue colour and apply it to the background leaving flowers, sepals, and the stalks.

Step 6:

Paint the leaves as shown below. For the highlighting effect use shades of light and dark green.
