Abstract Acrylic Painting has many different styles and techniques. In this blog, the masking technique is introduced.
Materials required -
1) Wooden plank/ cardboard/ paper
2) Acrylic paint/ watercolor
4) Masking tape/ scotch tape
Step 1: Composition
Take a middle point of the surface and mark it with a pencil.
Step 2 : Masking
Apply masking tape in a triangular shape as shown in the picture.
Step 3 : Filling the First Block with Paint
Apply the light of shade in the inner areas and the darkness sheet in the outer areas.
Step 4: Drying the Paint
Dry the paint using the hairdryer & peel off the masking tape after the pain gets tried.
Step 5 : Creating the Second Layer
Put the masking tape in a triangular form and pain as you did before
Follow the procedure until you are done with covering all the sides
Don't be afraid to be creative with your colors.
Pro Tip : You can apply black/Golden paint between the joints. It will give a different dimension to the drawing.
Step 7: Creating a Focus Point
Apply a golden paint at the center with your finger in a circular shape and dab it. For detailing, you can use a pencil and make a spiral pattern on the golden paint.
