Drawing Watermelon Using Charcoal

Materials required:

1) Charcoal Powder

2) Isomers Paper stumps

3) Pencil

4) Kneaded Eraser

Step 1:

Draw the outline of watermelon and take the soft medium and hard charcoal powder as shown in the picture.

Step 2:

For shading the seeds and strips of the watermelon use a darker grade of pencil, or use multiple layers. Smudge it using blending stick.

Step 3:

Highlight the inner area of the half watermelon with a darker shade.

Step 4:

For the rest of the area, use a lighter shade, and highlight the midpoint of the watermelon as shown.

Step 5:

At last, give a shadow effect to it by lightly shading around the edges.
